The Group as a tribute to the family.

Artist Statement
Sabine Kühner is a German artist best known for her abstract figurative paintings. Her works encourage the viewer to decipher the visions hidden in them for themselves. In a time of ubiquitous overstimulation and losing oneself, her paintings lead the viewer to their own aliveness and an awareness of what life is all about.
She is influenced by formative life events and a decades-long exploration of the themes of color, form, and togetherness in relationships.
Her artistic practice uses a language of expressive gesture and color in the style of abstract expressionism and color painting. In doing so, she explores the limits of what is possible on canvas, reflecting the sometimes exuberant diversity of our world. The paintings at times contain oddities and are often ambiguous, leaving much room for interpretation and examination. Thus, they invite you to get involved, to bring to the surface in an emotional way the deeply intrinsic in man.
